It was a determined press of a button which made a satisfying click noise. As usual without removing my blindfold I had turned off my alarm clock. Yaay!
My water bottle, at least I think so. When I first start waking up I start thinking about things I’ve got to do, wondering exactly what the time is etc so I imagine touching my watch, my laptop and things. But I think the first thing I actually did touch was my water bottle

My socks. My feet were cold so I put them on before getting out of bed.
I touched my right ear, felt the plastic exterior of my ear phone, and realised, I’d fallen asleep listening to my book again. Pulled it out, then snuggled back for a further ten minutes .. or more.
